Appearanz eyebrows are handmade from 100% human hair. They are the closest products on the market to real eyebrows. Carefully place each hair on the soft gel backing with your hands to make the eyebrows look like real hair. The hair is oriented to imitate typical eyebrow growth. Since they are handmade, subtle changes occur. These changes can achieve a realistic look because natural eyebrows are not perfect or the same.
What is an eyebrow wig?
An eyebrow wig is just a wig for your eyebrows. Many people wear wigs when their eyebrows are thinning or falling off. The eyebrows with gel backing have artificially placed human hair to mimic the natural hair growth pattern in natural eyebrows and have the most natural appearance. Unlike wigs worn on the top of the head, eyebrow wigs require an adhesive to stay on. There are specially formulated adhesives that can stick them to your skin.
Can you wear the eyebrows in water?
Although the eyebrows can be worn in the shower, we do not encourage prolonged soaking. Many customers have used them successfully on the beach or in fresh or saltwater pools. Due to the irritation of swimming pool chemicals, we do not recommend wearing them in the swimming pool.
How do you secure your eyebrows?
You can use eyelash glue, but you may find that it is not as good as eyebrow glue.
How long can your eyebrows last?
Every use: Many of our customers can wear our eyebrows for a week at a time without having to remove and reapply. However, we recommend that you remove them every night to allow your skin to breathe and remove the adhesive from the gel backing. Doing so will increase the life of the eyebrows.
Full wear: The eyebrows can usually be used for 2 to 4 months with proper care. Many factors affect their lifespan. High temperatures, chemicals, improper cleaning, sweating, abrasion, and ing in the eyebrows will shorten their lifespan.
Application instructions for glue-on eyebrows:
Apply a small amount of eyebrow gel to the eyebrow gel backing (the other side of the hair).
Starting from the inner edge of the brow line, place the eyebrows on the brow line to form the desired shape and arch. Use the teeth of the eyebrow brush to gently press the eyebrows until the adhesive dries. (Using a comb allows the adhesive to grab the base without sticking glue to the hair fibers).
You can use eyebrow pencils or powdered eyebrow shadows to enhance the color and complete the look.
Removing Glue-on Eyebrows:
Starting from the inner edge, peel off the eyebrows very gently. Use a cotton swab dipped in an oily makeup remover to soften the adhesive.
After removal, use our adhesive remover (sold separately) to gently clean any residue from the roots of the eyebrows. Note: Avoid contact with the adhesive remover with the eyes.
After using the gel remover, carefully rinse the eyebrows with cold water and let them dry.
Can you cut the eyebrows?
If necessary, you can cut the eyebrows into a suitable shape. For this reason, we recommend carefully separating the hair or removing the gel backing. Then use a pair of fine scissors to cut between the hair roots to avoid cutting off the desired hair. If all or some of the hair is longer than expected, then you may need to cut your eyebrows to the desired length. In this case, you can bend the backing slightly to lift the hair, and then cut it to the desired length with a pair of fine scissors.
When do you need to replace your eyebrows?
If properly maintained, eyebrows can be used for up to 4 months. However, it also depends on how often you wear your eyebrows and the length of each wear. We recommend using our adhesive remover to remove the adhesive from the backing so that a smooth, clean surface can be obtained with every wear.
How do you clean the eyebrows?
We encourage the use of our eyebrow makeup remover and cotton swabs to remove the adhesive from the transparent backing of the eyebrows after each use. This will increase the life of the eyebrows and provide a fresh, smooth backing after each use. To avoid damage, do not immerse the eyebrows in the adhesive. When washing, gently move your eyebrows in cold water with a small amount of mild shampoo. Rinse gently with cold water. Pat dry with a towel. Do not rub or heat.
If you have existing eyebrow hair, will it pull out the hairs you have left?
Many of our customers have successfully used these eyebrows with their existing hair without any problems when using glue.
What if the eyebrows are darker or lighter than what you need?
You can use an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder to enhance your realistic eyebrows. Apply the eyebrows first, and then carefully apply makeup until the desired tone is achieved.
Can the eyebrows be applied over foundation makeup?
Yes, many of our customers use these for their regular cosmetics. However, keep in mind that anything applied to the skin before applying the eyebrows will provide an extra barrier to the glue. We recommend that you gently use any skincare products before applying your eyebrows. Many customers use toner and cotton swabs to clean the eyebrow area before use.
Can you wear the eyebrows during sports or sweat?
Many of our customers have found that eyebrows work well and can tolerate sweat during exercise. Just like eyelashes or cosmetics, adhesives react differently to everyone's skin and sweat. Trying eyebrows during private exercises such as yoga, jogging, or home aerobics is a good way to test your eyebrows and specific body chemistry. If you wear out for a long time when you sweat and your eyebrows start to appear on the edges, you can apply a small amount of glue under the edges as needed.
