Volume Lash VS. Easy Fan Lash Extensions
Have you heard of easy fan volume lashes yet? Easy fan lash extensions are a relatively new addition to the eyelash extension field but have proved increasingly popular on all social media platforms.

Volume Lash Extensions

Volume lashes are a one-to-many technique in which multiple lashes are fanned out and applied to a single natural lash, allowing for perfect customization to achieve the client’s desired dimensional lash look. For example, if two eyelash extensions are applied to one natural lash, it’s described as 2D lashes. It’s described as 3D lashes if three eyelash extensions are applied to one natural eyelash, etc. This method offers a fluffier and fuller lash line.

The lash extensions used in this one-to-many technique are relatively thinner (normally using a 0.07 diameter lash extension) than the lash extensions used for the classic lash extensions.

Volume lashes are perfect for clients who have sparse lashes or want a slightly dramatic look without having to use a thicker lash.

Easy Fan Lash Extensions

Have you heard of easy fan volume lashes yet? Easy fan lash extensions are a relatively new addition to the eyelash extension field but have proved increasingly popular on all social media platforms. The name says it all – easy fan lash extensions can be easy and quick to fan. Besides, easy fan lashes are more durable. They have the same lifespan as your natural lashes, lasting 4 to 6 weeks with proper care.

Why Are Easy Fan Lash Extensions “Easy” And How Do They Work?

Easy fan lash extensions have a small amount of flexible and gentle adhesive at the base of the extensions, so they are easy to pick up and fan out.

The unique-designed easy fan lashes are held together and prevent the lashes from splitting at the base, allowing you to create a fan by just grabbing a section of fans directly from the tray rather than sticking and forming the base of the lash together yourself. In this way, you can speed up your application process and create amazing volume fans in a short time.

When pulling forward the fans from the tray, you need to control the width of the fan by applying a little bit of pressure on your tweezers, then pick up the desired amount of lashes to create 2D to 10D volume fans.

Are Easy Fan Lash Extensions Safe?

Just like regular volume or classic lash extensions, easy fan lashes are safe and will not damage the natural lashes through proper application. A common mistake is to apply fans on baby lashes and fill in natural lashes regardless of the growth stage. And this will definitely cause damage to the natural lashes.

Although easy fan lashes are much easier to apply than regular volume lashes, new eyelash artists still require a lot of practice as mastering the volume technique is difficult and time-consuming. Easy fan lash extensions still require you to have absolute control over the precision and amount of adhesive. Remember not to weigh down your client’s eyes. If you are a green hand, the classic lash extensions might be a better choice to get started.
