Master the Art of Applying False Lashes

Wearing beautiful makeup will make anyone feel exceptionally good especially in this burnout society. False eyelashes can be called one of the few items that can give us happiness and are affordable. This is because false eyelashes are an effortlessly glamorous addition to almost any makeup look. The art of applying false lashes can be difficult to master, but once you know how to do it, it becomes perfect.
Why apply strip false lashes?
It seems that no matter how many layers of mascara we apply, our lash line is never full enough for what we want. False lashes are popular because they give the illusion of bigger eyes, they look exaggerated, and they can take your eyes to another level even if you’re not wearing full-face makeup. Strip lashes are the most common and easier to apply on their own, and they give an eye-catching look. Individual lashes can provide a more natural look, but they can be difficult to wear. Strip lashes are the most popular choice for false lash enhancement and can be applied very quickly and easily.
For false lashes, Appearanz has tried the latest innovations such as magnetic strip lashes, decal lashes and every style of lash you can think is in development. The common denominator of these false eyelashes is that they are easy to wear and incredibly stunning.
But applying false lashes is not an easy task, otherwise, the topic would not be the most searched on YouTube and Google.
Keep scrolling for the ultimate guide on how to wear false lashes.
Steps of Applying False Lashes
1. Prepare your makeup
Everyone has different makeup steps, but I suggest that your false eyelashes should be the last step in your makeup. If you wear them first, you’re likely to end up messing up your eyeshadow and eyeliner. You should already have your face and eye makeup on by the time everything starts.
2. Take out your lashes
When we first take our lash strips out of the box, they tend to be straighter than our eyes. You will need to soften the strip to fit the curvature of your lash line before using it. Doing this beforehand will make the false lashes look like your own and they will blend naturally with your natural lashes. Curling your false lashes creates a base that seamlessly supports your lashes.
3. Choose the right strip lashes for your eye type
Before applying them, be sure to place the lashes over your eyes to see if they fit properly. If they’re too wide or too long, you can carefully trim off a few hairs until you’re happy with the length. It is important that your lashes fit and enhance your particular eye shape.
One of the most common eye shapes is the hooded eye, read this guide to choosing the right lashes for yourself.

4. Apply Mascara
This is actually an opinion that can divide many people. You can apply it before or after, but the latter may cause clumping. My advice is that it’s best to apply false lashes before you wear them.
5. Apply glue to your false lashes
A common mistake that people make when applying glue is not waiting. Wait a minute or so after applying the glue so that it will be “sticky” and not fall off easily. It is important not to blow on the glue just to hurry, as this can lead to bacteria getting into your eyes.
6. Use an eyelash applicator
There are many beauty tools available these days that are merely a fad and frankly not worth the money. However, lash applicators are not one of them. It is undeniable that the working principle of eyelash applicators is similar to that of tweezers, but applicators have specially shaped edges. The curved edges can be used to carefully and safely clamp the eyelashes, rather than the elongated slanted tip. The distance between the handles is also slightly wider, allowing you to gain more freedom while maintaining a firm grip on the false eyelashes.
One of the biggest mistakes people make when using false lashes is applying them too far from the lash line and wearing them on the outer corners. Using a lash applicator means this doesn’t happen.
Place the middle of the strip in the center of your eye and lightly touch the sides along the lash line. Push the strip down for a few seconds while the glue sets and holds the lashes in place. Once everything is in place, you can use your fingers to make sure your natural lashes and false lashes blend together.
The trick to doing this the first time is to place a mirror under your face, near a vertical angle, and look down. This will stretch your eyelids, leaving more room for you to get lashes on top of your natural lashes.
7. Allow the false lashes to bond with your own lashes
After the glue has set and your lashes are in place, you can apply a thin coat of mascara if you’re looking for an exaggerated effect.
Take Away
Don’t be intimidated by the complicated steps described above, in fact, when you take action and start doing it, you will find that all your problems will be solved. Mastering this “art” is much easier than other arts. Let’s start our false lash journey now!
