Individual Lashes Vs. Strip Lashes: Which One is Better?

Not everyone is born with full, luscious lashes. Fortunately, today, false eyelashes are available in a variety of styles, sizes, and types. For many women, using false eyelashes is just part of their beauty routine. Not only do false eyelashes give you thicker lashes, but they also help to outline your eyes, making them appear wider and brighter. When applied properly, false lashes will blend in with your natural lashes. The big news is that pretty much every high fashion makeup artist puts a heavy emphasis on the eyes. Before buying and using false eyelashes, it's important to understand the differences between individual lashes or strips. Let's take a look at the difference between these two options.
Individual False Eyelashes
Individual false eyelashes are ideal for women who want to enhance their lashes in a subtle way. Unlike strip lashes, which can appear bulky, individual lashes allow the applicator full control over the thickness or the thinness of the lash line. It's also easier to blend individual lashes with your natural lashes for a more realistic look. Makeup artists more often use individual false eyelashes. They go a long way in adding fullness to lashes and filling in sparse areas.
Applying individual false eyelashes is relatively simple, but takes practice to do it quickly. Like most false eyelashes, the individual lashes are coated with eyelash glue. One of the easiest ways to apply an individual is to use a Q-Tip to apply a thin layer of glue along the lash line. The eyelashes can then be arranged in glue using tweezers. Layer them for a bigger look or make a statement, or add some on the outer area of the eye to create flared lashes. Because the person applying them has more control over how the final result will look.
Full Strip Eyelashes
Another popular false eyelash option is the pre-arranged false eyelashes. The most common type for beginners is strip lashes. Strip falsies are very affordable and, when applied properly, blend well with your natural lashes without appearing too clumpy. Full-length strip lashes are a great option if your natural lashes are thin or speckled.
The strip lashes are already attached to the thin bottom strip and there is little room for error during application. They are available in a variety of lengths and colors, making them a highly versatile option. Since the strips pretend to be "one size fits all", the strips may need to be tailored to fit your eye length. Most beginners will need some practice trials before perfecting this skill, so it's best not to trim too much too soon.
Decorate your eyes with false eyelashes. Both individual lashes and strips of lashes can go a long way towards boosting your peepers, especially if you do your best to keep your false lashes long-term. Which do you prefer? Tell us your opinion.
